L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil Review

The L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil Vox Box was sent to me for free to review. All opinions are my own.

Nobody likes bad hair days. So, I was thrilled to test and review L’Oreal’s new Extraordinary Oil products.

What I Received

  • Extraordinary Oil Shampoo ($4.99)
I really love this product! Oftentimes, I find that shampoo is really drying. However, it seems like the oil in this product really helps. My hair has great, “slip,” after I lather up and rinse. Plus, it doesn’t feel dry and brittle after washing. I would recommend this product, especially if you have dry hair!
  • Extraordinary Oil Conditioner ($4.99)
After loving the shampoo I really had high hopes for the conditioner. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. It wasn’t bad. The conditioner just didn’t seem to have any effect on my hair. I plan to stick with my staple conditioner, Organix Vitamin E.
  • Extraordinary Oil Lustrous Oil Serum ($6.99)
This product is just so-so in my book. Yes, it does give your hair a nice sheen when applied. However, I don’t feel like the “touchably soft” result lasted very long. I’ve used other hair oils which have produced better and longer-lasting results.

Yes the before and after shows a big difference, but does your hair ever really look worse after a blowout? Even if the products aren’t that great? No!

The bottom line, I’ll stick with the shampoo, but the conditioner and serum are just ordinary in my book.

Oh, and here’s how I stretch my blowouts a little longer without damaging my hair.
