Protective Style: Amazon Ponytail Extension Review
When I’m taking a break from extensions I style my own natural hair, including my own blowouts. I love the results! However, if you have natural hair, no matter how careful you are blowouts don’t stay perfect forever.
That got me thinking about ways I could stretch my straight hair past 10 days without doing major damage. I thought an Amazon ponytail extension would be worth a try… and I ended up getting two!
These two Amazon ponytail extensions have been lifesavers! I was skeptical when I ordered them but they are holding up well and each one is under $15!
The curly ponytail needed a few sprays of dry shampoo to take out the Barbie hair shine. It does tangle a bit during wear, but it’s not unmanageable.
The kinky straight ponytail is my favorite! I have minimal tangling and shedding with that one.
Both are easy to install – just put your hair in a ponytail, stick the comb in, wrap the attached velcro strap around, and wrap a strand of hair around to conceal the velcro.
I take the ponytail out at night and put a scarf on to keep my hair in place. I can usually get two to three days out of this style.
